In The Frame Productions is owned and operated by Sean Boyd, a Sydney-based DoP and Lighting Cameraman. 

 

Sean started his career in television in 2001, working as a camera assistant at Channel 7’s old Epping Studios in Sydney. This gave him a solid foundation and deep understanding of all the components of live and pre-recorded television production. Working on a variety of programs such as Sunrise, Today Tonight and Sydney Weekender, he enjoyed learning from some of the industry’s most experienced craftsmen. Sean was then offered an opportunity to join the Field Production Unit at Channel 10. Here he expanded his shooting technique on shows such as Video Hits, RPM, The Project and Totally Wild.

In 2011, Sean was offered the chance to work on the Royal wedding in London and, keen on growing his international experience, decided to stay in the UK. Sean founded Reel Motion Media Limited, a production company specialising in shooting sports promos, branded content and corporate films. Over seven years, Sean built a strong reputation as a trusted, reliable and highly skilled operator. Clients included the Premier League, UEFA, IMG Media, BBC, Storyman and various corporates, including one of the world’s most prestigious investment banks.

 

In 2018, Sean relocated back to Australia with his young family and incorporated In The Frame Productions.
